Hi Martin, the AWAKE exercise is extremely powerful in that it has taught me to acknowledge my thoughts and make space for them and then to experience wakefulness and ultimately lessen the struggle my mind has with being awake at night. I think if i shift my focus to these outcomes rather than sleep it will be alot more beneficial.
Thank you for the reply Martin. Giving it some thought, I think I have the wrong intention with the AWAKE exercise, I am still chasing sleep, I do the exercise expecting sleep to happen which isnt the intention of the exercise. I will persist and advise.
