Carls✘ Not a client
Hi
I know how you feel, I think I have to accept no sleep as part of my life 🙁
Carls✘ Not a clientHi Daf
I regularly have nights of no sleep, which makes me feel unwell with headaches vomiting etc it’s an awful feeling but somehow I manage to get through the day as I become more used to it.
( I am definitely one of those who rolls their eyes when someone says I only get 4 to 6 hours a night)? if only!
Carls✘ Not a clientHi
Yes the Dr just gave me anxiety anti depressants which is not what I needed therefore didn’t resolve the problem.
I go for weeks on end with as little as a couple of hours a week probably even less than that it’s a nightmare.
Havent tried CBT-I

Carls✘ Not a clientHi
All I can say is same here I wish I could find a solutuion! 🙁
Carls✘ Not a clientHi
So your sleep has already improved?
I have tried pills etc for my insomnia, including melatonin zopiclone among other supposidly useful remedies none of which have been that helpful but occasionally Zopiclone has given me some sleep unfortunately it can be difficult to be perscribed it.
hope CBT-I works for you.
Carls✘ Not a clientHi Steve
good questions!
I am finding it more and more difficult to make the effort to go out with friends etc as I do feel overwhelmed with tiredness to want to go out, and am struggling with it right now as the weekend approaches there are lots of things I really wanna do but should I force myself to do them or just stay home because I’m so tired and need to at least rest as I’m not able to sleep, and then I think i should do the things I want as I’m not going to sleep so might as well go out.
im not married, live with family, and work part time.
I think regular exercise is something worth doing as difficult as it is ( I am often saying I am too tired with headaches etc to exercise) However I have recently joined a running club to see if this helps me.
Carls✘ Not a clientHi Martin
My sleep pattern is not regular I do go to bed at various times probably between 9pm and 11pm.
when I have work I get up at about 8.30am when I’m not working I will stay in bed till for as long as possible(I realise this is a bad habit)
On a typical night I would honestly say I’m lucky if I get a couple of hours it’s more like 20 minutes or so of light sleep and then realising I am still awake if that makes sense.
Regards
carly
Carls✘ Not a clientHi Steve
I wanted to try hypnotism so last year I looked into it and found someone local, although I requested hypnotherapy when I arrived she did something called BWRT instead when this did not work after a few sessions I asked about hypnotherapy and she seemed reluctant to do it saying she didn’t think it would be useful.
I am interested to know how CBT for insomnia compares to regular CBT as I found that was not focussed on my insomnia and just depression and anxiety related which was not helpful.
if you try hypnotherapy And it works I would love to know.
good luck!
