I go to bed around 12:00, but lately I'm still awake at 6am or later. A couple of days ago it was after 8am by the time I fell asleep, and I get up between 10-11. I listen to music a lot, and that helps sometimes, but lately I just stare at the ceiling.
christine9774✘ Not a clientHi Molly
I totally understand how you feel, I've been dealing with the same thing. I hope things go well with your doctor and she can help you. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! 🙂
christine9774✘ Not a clientHi Deb
I have to say I love your attitude and your strength! You sound like an amazing lady. I'm in that “mind moving constantly” club too. Maybe we should get stickers! 🙂
christine9774✘ Not a clientOh I love Upstairs Downstairs. I was really weary of the “new” one they did this year, but I enjoyed that one too.
It's so cliched, but I really love Gone With the Wind too. I don't know what it is about that movie, but I'm just drawn to it.
christine9774✘ Not a clientHappy Birthday!
christine9774✘ Not a clientThank you for such a nice welcome!
I'll tackle the easy question first – I've only seen my regular physician about my insomnia, and he's somewhat helpful. All he really does is write a prescription for ambien and send me on my way. Part of my insomnia problem is anxiety and depression that kind of gets better for awhile then hits me, and he won't really do anything further for the insomnia until I go to a therapist. But right now I don't have insurance so I can't afford it – so it's all one big crazy cosmic joke of a never ending cycle.
My curveballs, my story I guess, is like everybody else these days. I worked for a title company and when the real estate market crashed I got laid off. That was about two and a half years ago and I haven't been able to find another job yet. That is a huge part of all of my problems. Luckily though I could live back home with my parents to save money and it's kept me going this far.
That and those darn birds! 😀
This spring we cut down a tree that was right outside my bedroom window, but I swear they are even louder now. I try putting music on to drown them out but I'm afraid of waking up the rest of the house so I never get it loud enough. Ugh!
christine9774✘ Not a clientOh that's an easy one – last month I saw Jason Webley play at a little hole-in-the-wall place in Troy and the concert was amazing. He puts on one heck of a show. If you're not a fan when you get there you are when you leave. Awesome.
