Cranky✓ Client
I participated in a sleep study 20 plus years ago. I was given a sleeping pill, (didn’t sleep) and I had to get up to use bathroom so many time because of nerves? At the end. The doctor sat me down and said “ When you wake up at 3 o’clock in the morning, get up and you’ll be tired the next day” To be honest, I was disappointed. I was hoping I had sleep apnea or something! For 20 years, I said that was the biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent $1300 until this weekend when I had gutter guards put on my house, Yikes, I’ve lost sleep at the price of those!
So it’s the same prescription from 20 years ago, get up when you can’t sleep ☹️Cranky✓ ClientMy last good sleep was 27 years ago, c section, catheter!
Definitely the bathroom issue is a factor in my lack of sleep, can’t lie there, and try and sleep through the full bladder feeling. I get up, and feel a real struggle to fall back to sleep. Thanks for the tips!Cranky✓ ClientHorrible! If I sit down, I fall asleep during the day. My head hit the window 15 times yesterday, Like a woodpecker and I couldn’t control it because I was so tired:( I do feel fortunate that I do fall asleep quickly. I just don’t stay asleep.
Cranky✓ ClientI’ve seen you mentioned on Reddit in Canada quite a bit. I appreciate the way you say don’t let lack of sleep interfere with your life. So hard to do.
Cranky✓ ClientExactly my life! Though only 40 years, unisome is only drug that has worked for me. I feel like I’ve tried them all, but I know Unisom Benadryl, etc. linked to Alzheimer’s. I’ve thrown away the Unisom because it’s just too tempting in the middle of the night. I get so desperate for sleep.
