✓ ClientI struggle with waking up during the night needing to pee too, and then being unable to get back to sleep. I’ve been seeing a pelvic floor physical therapist and that has helped a lot, I have bladder prolapse so working on that has helped reduce the amount i need to pee at night, have you considered possibly seeing a pelvic floor PT about any issues there that could be corrected? I also don’t drink any water or anything else for at least 3 hours before I go to sleep, and that has helped as well. It is so frustrating being awoken to pee, so I am empathetic for your struggle!

✓ ClientI’ve tried those and it makes me so anxious when I am still awake after, it seems really hard for me to manage my intentions and motivations with guided meditations, but perhaps something to keep experimenting with and seeing if I can truly try to rest and relax vs. aim for sleep.

✓ ClientI am feeling discouraged, my sleep has been so inconsistent as well. Over the last week I had a stretch of about 4 nights where I slept great and was really optimistic, but the last 2 nights were really bad. Its hard not to get discouraged or down when I sensed improvement but then struggled with sleep again.

✓ ClientThanks, Bronte! I really like that approach and that is what I feel like I’ve been attempting to do before starting this course and what I will continue to do (rest in bed and try not to worry about being awake)
