Thank you Martin. In regards to the exercise should I go through it a few times while laying in bed before I get up? Should I lay there quite a long time just going through it in my mind? If I do get out of bed and say go watch some TV in another room for awhile can I do the exercise at the same time? Also is it better to use the guided version that you provided?
    Thanks, Dave

To be honest it’s very difficult to even get to the E before my mind starts wandering. It’s like I get half way through and my brain comes crashing through to remind me that I’m very wired and alert and so full of angst. I guess my selfish expectations are that the exercise will “produce” positive results fairly quickly. Deep down I realize that’s not a correct assumption to have but in the heat of the moment and being human I/we want quick results. I love the idea of eventually not fearing or dreading going to bed each night. I just long for that night when the difficult thoughts and feelings come and my heart doesn’t race like it does now. That I’m able to accept them and move on. Thank you for to response.👍
