I’ve made some progress of late for sure, thanks largely to Martin. I’ve got a long way to go but I’m confident that as long as I to stick with the plan, I’ll get to where I need to go.
I’ve only really just started my journey of implementing sleep restriction etc. so I’m still in the midst of figuring out what works for me (in terms of relaxing activities) when I get out of bed at night due to sleeplessness. I’m finding reading tough as it requires too much focus and is ultimately not very relaxing for me. I’ve found that some podcasts, listening to someone else read (like on calm.com for example) to be more effective. I’ve been avoiding watching TV but I think I’ll give it a whirl, as long as it’s not overly stimulating. Might even give the arts and crafts a shot as you suggested!
