The symptoms are tingling arms and legs, a pit/gnawing in the stomach/nausea, and heavy eyes.
What I am doing now is trying to accept those feelings or doing mindfulness. Getting in the moment. I am still working, still living life, still meeting friends, still doing all of the normal things, but the body symptoms can be so overpowering at times. Sometimes if my mind even notices how heavy my eyes feel, my brain immediately senses the threat of little sleep and the symptoms increase. Then I have to diffuse the symptoms, accept them, acknowledge them, sometimes run towards them, and re-engage with life. The re-engagement happens; I continue to work and engage but my mind can still be on the overwhelming sensations.
