Howard Hopkins✓ Client
Your experience sounds much like mine. I seem to sleep better without
waking during the night for a couple of nights, and then I wake around
3 AM and am but able to go back to sleep. The next night, I may wake at
2AM, but will finally go back to sleep a couple of hours later. In total
I am getting more sleep, however. I do find it comfortable to learn that
waking up is normal.Howard Hopkins✓ ClientLooking at the time [for me] was part of my quest to manage or
make my sleep happen. If it wasn’t I was watching the time. So
far the best thing that has happened to me has been the Sleep
Window, a better understanding of sleep causation, and my
realistic need for [in amounts] sleep. I am going to bed now when I am sleepy
and getting up [and waking] after a realistic amount of sleep and at the same
time each day. And I am finally getting enough sleep.Howard Hopkins✓ ClientChris certainly gives support to Awake and Now. They are working for him
and should help all of us.Howard Hopkins✓ ClientSounds like a normal part of the learning process for an unexpected challenge
like what happened to occur. It appears to me that Elkie is doing well and that
adjusting to this event has probably taken place.Howard Hopkins✓ ClientYes, Your response helped. By keeping the same wake-up
time I am now starting the window consistently.Howard Hopkins✓ ClientTess, Thank You for sharing your experience with us. It is
an inspiration to me and I am sure it has helped all of us
who have read it to know that there is a way to beat the “bully”.Howard Hopkins✓ ClientLearning to “accept” can understandably take practice. This is an example of a good result
from a flexible and supportive approach.Howard Hopkins✓ ClientThanks for confirming my expectations!
Howard Hopkins✓ ClientLast night I did not read in bed and when I did not go to sleep
in an appropriate period I went to another location and read. I
then returned to bed and slept about six hours. -
