I figure that if I wake up an hour later I’d get an extra hour of sleep so I won’t be so tired. Usually if I’m awake at 5am I just try to relax and continue to rest until my usual wake time.
My sleep window is 11pm-6am. I think the issue is once I’m awake at 5am my brain is alert and I can’t go back to sleep. I’m trying to adjust my circadian rhythm.
My question is how are you functioning with limited hours per day ?
So I’ve been able to fall asleep implementing the sleep window but find that I keep waking up around 5am or 6am before my alarm. Once I am awake I can’t seem to go back to sleep. I wish that I didn’t wake up that early. I’ve been averaging 5-6 hours per night and I’m still very mentally exhausted when I try to power through the next day. I feel like a zombie!
