    This is not helpful no.

    Right now I am in a hospital so I cant take my meds or go anywhere in the night to distract myself I have to be in my bedroom at 11pm then I have to just pace around the room or sit on the floor which is not fun. So 6:30 is suitable now, but yeah I am trying so hard but nothing is changing, everything you have suggested I have tried, I got one night of 5 hours then back to 2 hours a night, It’s unbearbale. I honestly feel like this is never going to work for me.

    I am in hospital for another 7 months, I am in a theraputic community I go home on the weekends.

    Thank you so much for sharing this. So so helpful, I know this hyperarousal to well and I really want it to be over now so I will try my best to work on accepting it just like you did and see what the outcome is! I’m excited to get my life back! Thank you

    I am trying to wake up at 6:30 everyday but I really want to wake at 8am everyday but I’m to afraid of pushing my sleep till 3:30 am as I average around 3.5hrs a night. It is very confusing I hope you manage to work with that

    This sounds really hard but you’ve got this! Keep going, I hear all the stories on the podcast we have to push through the pain, what do we have to loose!

    I am also in 3 year bad cycle but I am trying very hard to beat it this time. I really need to surrender to my insomnia. Any tips on how to let go would be so very appreciated.
