I had something a bit similar, though I would be able to sleep a bit longer on and off – maybe about 6 hours. I was just constantly tired because I wasn’t sleeping enough to actually rest my body. Although I tried a bunch of things to fix my cycle, in the end the first thing that really provided relief and acted as the first step to further improvement, was getting a good period of solid sleep. My dad found out about a sleep professor gaining interest in Japan and told me to try one of his most recommended techniques: eyemask and earplugs. I almost didn’t even try, I was so certain something so simple wouldn’t have any effect lol. But basically when I was ready to fall asleep I just put those things on….and got an uninterrupted 8 hours of sleep for the first time in about 1.5 years. It was like heaven lol. Since then I’ve been using podcasts like ‘sleep with me’ and raw diets and detoxes as well as making sure I keep stress levels low to slowly bring that 8 hours around to a more normal cycle. I sleep at around 2-3am and get up at 10-11am at the moment, depending on energy levels.
