✓ ClientI have been trying my best to not let Insomnia affect my day-to-day plans. I have been trying my best to live life as if I did not have insomnia. I am still going to the gym, trying my hardest in school, and more. I realized that this helps me not think about sleep, but my thoughts always come rushing in later in the night and especially when I am about to go to bed. I have been trying my best to accept these thoughts and not try to fight them. Trying to allow them to come and go as they please. There are some days more difficult than others, and that is when I get discouraged.

✓ ClientWell, every time it’s a few minutes before my sleep window I always hope that I get sleepy and that if I don’t get sleepy enough by the time my sleep window starts, I start to worry about the time. I tend to have this thought that the longer I stay up the less total sleep I get. When I awake in the middle of the night every 2 hours I just close my eyes and usually fall asleep for another two hours within a few minutes.

✓ ClientSo far that being awake is not my enemy. That it is okay to be awake.
