manohargss✘ Not a clientHi Marie, I saw your post that you are having anxiety. Anxiety and sleep do not go together. First you have to remove the Anxiety by practicing a technique called alternate nostril breathing this relaxes the brain and then slowly you can go to sleep.
Don’t try to sleep hard and just say to yourself that you are going to the bed to take the well deserved relaxation that you need after the day. You are going to relax.
manohargss✘ Not a clientYou have to first stop trying to sleep. I know this sounds tough but when you are measuring your sleep continuously you will be feeding Anxiety. Anxiety then causes Insomnia. This is a eventually a loop where Anxiety feeds Insomnia and Insomnia feeds Anxiety.
You have to relax on the bed. Play the game that you closed your eyes and relaxed if possible try having long breaths. If possible make your exhale longer than inhale.
So play this game of relaxing yourselves and feel happy for relaxing.
This sounds silly but trust these simple things of deep breathing and relaxing more will help you to overcome the sleep issues.
manohargss✘ Not a clientHi Merlin you are checking all the boxes that help in overcoming Insomnia but there are few things that you can do which will help. There is a technique known as alternate nostril breathing that helps a lot when it comes to overcoming the respiratory issues. This brings the nervous system to balance that helps in improving your situation.
