Martin, thanks for your response. So far what seems to be helping is I still try not to go to bed until SLEEPY. When I get to bed I try to stay out of my head. I think about the blanket making contact with my skin or do a body scan of some sort. Not to go to sleep but to keep myself calm. So far so good!

When I say getting out of bed, I mean when I need to leave the bed due to struggling with thoughts and frustration with ‘trying to sleep.’
I guess my goal is to be out of bed because it’s frustrating lying in bed trying to fall asleep.
