Thank you for your comment. I’m in week two and things are still pretty hit or miss. It is always good to hear about good news in the not-to-distant future.
You are not alone! I have had insomnia really bad for about 2-3 months now. I started to the full program three days ago and it is already helping a little bit. The instruction about making sure you are exhausted is obvious, but great. I disturbed that pattern somehow then catastrophized every time I woke up. After hearing some of Martin’s feedback and a little sleep, I have been able to convince myself that being up is not horrible.
Long story short, listen to what he says and follow his guidelines. I found that just getting a little break and taking away some of the guilt has given me hope. I think the next 5+ weeks will help a lot.
