But i just cannot shake the feeling that i wont sleep come bedtime? And its a vicious cycle. Im so scared

Ive done the course but my fear is just so strong!!! I have sleepless night after sleepless night and sometimes i feel like giving up. Your post has given me strength. What was the main factors for changing your mindset in your journey?

Im still battling away on 1-2 hours sleep. Most nights it feels like i havent slept at all. I am a walking zombie.
I am so worried i am going to be like this forever. What if i cant let go of the struggle!!!!

NikC14✓ ClientYes, I am happy not to counter thoughts and feelings… but I’m only averaging 1-2 hours sleep for the last week. My anxiety just takes over, however I can stay in bed and remain calm. I think of happy memories but I just cant sleep.
Do you think a sleep window could be helpful to build my sleep drive and overide my hyperarousal?
NikC14✓ ClientYes, none of my attempts have lowered it. But what if it never goes away? Then sleep will be permanently blocked?
NikC14✓ ClientIs there a way to turn hyperarousal down? As soon as it gets dark my worry starts and then anxiety keeps going and going which os preventing restful sleep.
NikC14✓ ClientOk so i have had 2 terrible nights in a row, last night no sleep. What if they just keep coming? What if my hyperarousal just keeps keeping me awake?
NikC14✓ ClientThats whre my fear lies. If i know for sure that I can die from this or lose my mind i know I will be able to move through it.
I have big fears that i will end up in a mental ward if i dont sleep and then that drives my anxiety and it keeps perpetuating.
