Still haven't left Chicago – that's not going to happen for another month or so. At this point, I've pretty much narrowed down my issue falling asleep: and that is, I tend to think about sleep all day. I've had stretches of 2 or 3 good weeks, but a couple of bad nights in a row and I always feel like I'm back to square one. Have had two CBTI sessions now, and after the first one I was doing great – almost three weeks without a sleepless night. After the second one, though, I've had a relapse and have gotten 2-3 hours of sleep a night over the last three nights. Mostly hoping to see people on here who have had similar issues to mine – especially if they've suffered a relapse and then bounced back.
I had some health anxiety at the time, which was keeping me from sleeping, but two days before the insomnia really started, my fiancee found out she had got a university faculty job in another state, which meant we'd be moving from our home in Chicago.
