    Thanks for your reply Martin. However it has been years since I ““try” to sleep, for as long as we “try” to avoid wakefulness, and for as long as we “try” to fight or avoid all the difficult thoughts, feelings, and emotions that like to come along for the ride. ” I learned that a long time ago. When I go to bed I pray a prayer of thankfulness; do breathing exercises then let happen what will happen. Sleep is a lot easier now with my sleep meds regiment but it is not a good substitute for natural sleep. If I let my meds’s script lapse because of forgetfulness I do not sleep at all that night.
    The problem with my sleep med regiment is that I am always tired just like I was before I started taking sleep meds. Peace!
