Roseleb✘ Not a client
Thank you all for making me feel not alone! Ive been on vaca and slept great last two nights! Usually sleep good n vaca making me think my insomnia is associated w real life, stressful job ( although I like job) or maybe It is related to my bed! But I will b back to realtors tomorrow. After two days ofctrazedone, I'm a zombie. It does seem to work most of the time. I still take Ambien , Just half every night. Dr gave me Sonota to take if I don't fall asleep and it works sometimes. Nothing works 100% and I'd love to not take any damn pills! I know the damage they do but sleep outweighs any risk! And yes I am sick of people saying they know how I feel after 1-2 nts if them sleeping bad or whe they say ” you Just got to get used to it” or “imagine if u had kids, you'd get even less”. I'm sick of complaining to people about it but if they ask, I tell, then get the Advice. Some days I have to drag myself to work, can't function or drive but Do! It all sucks! Those peole walking around w no sleep issues have no idea how lucky they have it. I almost rather have a physical issue that isn't hidden.
Roseleb✘ Not a clientWell I did sleep last 2 nts with one trazedone and 1/2 ambien, yesterday felt ok, today I'm dead ass tired . Can't do trazedone apparently more than the occasional night. Still better than the anxiety of NOT sleeping . But will have to not take it tonight as I have a long drive to make tomorrow and today could barely drive 1 hr.
Roseleb✘ Not a clientI was on lexapro for years and didn't think it helped but now that I've been off of it for 1 yr, my sleep is much worse. Ive tried everything. Am Trying Sleeptracksright now, so far, 1 1/2 weeks it's not working either. I can sleep w trazedone and ambien. It feel drugged the next day. I was going to look into seeing a naturopathic dr myself as so far I've been to my regular dr, psychiatrist and a “sleep specialist” who was actually an ENT dr. Whose last advice was actually ” try Benadryl” .really?! Good luck. I've had all the blood work done too and nothing is wrong.
Roseleb✘ Not a clientThanks for that. I will not be trying it then! Anyone ever hear it a natural drug called Relora to help w sleep?!
Roseleb✘ Not a clientI'll be interested in how you make out, please keep us informed!
Roseleb✘ Not a clientI dont meet w the dr again until July for results. I do know that durIng sleep study, my heart started fluttering a few times like it does on occasion. Well see if it was picked up. I don't have much faith. I think the dr is trying to rule out sleep apnea. I know I Don't have that. My latest Issue is I'm actually sleeping but feel like I havent! I can't win!!
Roseleb✘ Not a clientSorry it took me so long to get back . I got my sleep study ordered from a sleep specialist. OfcourSe I slept like hell at the study, hard to sleep w wires attached all over! Next appt isn't until next month.
Roseleb✘ Not a clientI had to quit trazedone, it makes me way to groggy during the day. But I'll keep it on hand if I need to feel tired. Apparently that's good enough for SOME people to make them sleep. It as us insomniacs now, NOT US! I went to a sleep specialist and am goin to undergo another sleep study! Last one was 2005 and the records are gone.
Roseleb✘ Not a clientWell trazedone let's me sleep a straight 7 hrs !! I've been so excited to wake up, look at cloc and it's 7 am and not 3! I still don't fall asleep right away-20 minutes – 1 hr last nt. I feel it w/I 1/2 hr of taking it and weird thing I have to look up happens, my legs get real weak. I'm suffering from the hangover effect from it, still very foggy/groggy. But when I tried to nap yesterday and go to bed early, couldn't sleep. It's like my body knows it doesn't need it. I Just want to close my eyes today but pushing through. I hear it will happen first few days to a week while body Adjust. So still tired but sleeping thru the night is wonderful!
Roseleb✘ Not a clientI am trying an anti-depressant Trazedone because it also helps w sleep. I'll let you know. I tried an audio thing through Blue heron healthcare, it is suppose to help 9/10 people but it didn't help me.plan on getting my $ back. And yea, don't u hate people who don't understand insomnia and give you all types of bad advice?!
Roseleb✘ Not a clientFrom all I read, Wellbutrin is never used to treat insomnia and 10% of people get insomnia from it! And I'd be that 10%! I only take 5 mg of ambien and it helps me fall asleep but in middle of night, I wake up and can't go back. But like I said, when I took awhile one, and slept, I had worst hangover from it next day! I'm definitely suffering from anxiety. So am starting Trazedone! Anxiety explains the heart rate suddenlybstartingto flutter in night, just did when I tried to nap. I was awake and not even tired on 3 hrs sleep but my nerves were shot I was highly emotional, depressed up until yesterday when I finally slept 4 hrs straight! Last nt was 6', hoping for 8 tonightvsocmaybe I'll feel normal someday! Thanks for your input everyone!
Roseleb✘ Not a clientI've tried melatonin a long time ago. And valerian . I just Took my 1st seriphos. But I gave in and am trying trazedone. Realized I have anxiety. It's why I have been able to keep going ..as I wasn't really that tired even on 3 hrs sleep! But last nt, while working, it hit me and I couldn't keep eyes open! And due to back to back shifts, only got 6 hrs last nt but slept straight through. I was excited but couldn't keep eyes open all day. I tried napping to no avail. I know that's a no-no but what else can u do when the eyes won't stay open?! I've been trying to listen to relaxation white noise at night. But I usually have earplugs in so it's a little weird .
Roseleb✘ Not a clientI definitely see a pattern. The week before my period, I sleep like hell. And someone suggested my bad two weeks of late are due to perimenapause! Hope not!
Roseleb✘ Not a clientAlso a newbie and am going to try these! Thanks!
