    I did go to the doctor suspecting sleep apnea but she said “I doubt it” as I don’t really snore and I don’t wake up gasping for breath or with a headache.

    I found that accepting the awakenings at night really helped and they stopped happening as often. I’ve hit a speed bump though and I feel like I’m back to square one 🙈

    Hey Martin, thanks for the reply. The awakenings did improve over last week though I did keep waking up and hour or so before my alarms went off. I seem to have hit a speed bump this week and I’m back to waking up a lot of times again but at least I know it can get better, I really think it was my brain just being more aware of the awakenings that happen naturally at night so I’m remembering them.

    Hey there, I’m going through the same exact same thing. What helps me is knowing that we actually wake up several times an hour but we don’t usually remember it, I’m beginning to think that maybe my brain has identified these awakenings as a threat so it’s paying more attention to them now and so we are actually remembering them.
