    Yay!!! What a great success story. I don’t take anything at all either. I used to take melatonin and a night time anxiety pill that made me sleepy. Now I get sleepy on my own. Speaking of, my eyes are pretty dang heavy in this moment.

    That must have been very frustrating for you and scary! However, remember that you have gotten good nights before and you can keep getting those good nights back. Sometimes even people who sleep very well have rough nights. Everyone does. You did it once and you can totally do it again! I know you can!

    I have to believe we can do this otherwise what the heck, right?!

    I can’t imagine not sleeping for 3 or 4 nights! My sleep was about 2 hours each night with so much frustration. Since starting Martin’s emails, in 13 short days I’ve turned my 2 hours into 4 hours. I know I can do this and I know you can too. I used to lay down in bed awake for 2 hours before finally falling asleep. In the last 13 days, I wait as long as I can before I go lay down. I think of every night as a fun Friday night watching all my favorite shows. Then when I lay down, I am falling asleep in less than 30 minutes (something that has not been common in my life). I am sleeping and still waking up every couple hours but I fall asleep more quickly after I awake.

    I have tried to change my mind about my time in bed awake, because like you, I felt like getting up and moving would wake me up again. So now I think, I’m just so happy to lay in my comfy bed and cool room with my podcast I love. Even if I don’t sleep, I am resting and this feels good! I could be out working a night job doing some kind of hard labor but no, I get to just lay here and relax listening to my favorite things. Eventually, I fall asleep. I have started reframing my thinking. It has served me well! I also stopped watching TV in my own bed and hang out in the spare room watching tv in another bed.

    I am so excited! This is all so good to hear. I am loving the 2 week emails and went back and forth with purchasing the course. I ended up going for it! Thank you for posting, it makes me so excited to restore my hope and my sleep! Yay for us!
