Prior to my insomnia started I used to sleep for 9 hours straight each night – wild right!! I remember sleep/going to bed being an enjoyable experience that I looked forward too. Very little effort put in. It’s really hard not putting in effort/not worrying about sleep when it’s impacting your awake time so much – tired, anxious etc. it makes sense but putting into practice is heaps harder.
