    Hi Martin- thank you for your response! I would greatly appreciate the book recommendation. On your question about a way forward, I think I need to get to a place mentally where I can accept when these intense feelings start to come on and be able to mindfully calm myself down. Similar to how I’ve gotten better doing it for my insomnia and the wakefulness. The panic attacks are just so new to me, that it really caught me off guard and threw me for a loop. My mind and body just sort of went into a state of hyper awareness and that’s all I thought about it (even at night).
