    Good Times

    • If everything goes according to plan, by the end of the month I'll have an iPad2!! I was hoping to get one earlier but the Bill Fairy seems to have been epically generous the last few months.[*]I have sold a shedload (no not literally, although it was quite a few) of DVDs BluRays and games…this means more space at Yam Towers…and funds toward my new iPad2!![*]Been eating some lovely stuff from the US the last couple of weeks…and last night had some Ricearoni, which was surprisingly good! If only they sold Cheetos in big bags, then my life would be complete…well almost lol[*]Bought several movies from iTunes UK, US and Canada including The Goonies, The Eagle, Jennifer's Body, Skinwalkers and Mortal Kombat….I will be buying most of my movies digitally from now to save physical space.[*]Bought the deluxe edition of the Batman graphic novel “The Killing Joke”….if you are a fan of Batman and you have not heard of this…where the heck have you been? A must read graphic novel and in my humble opinion up there with the likes of Watchmen.[*]I'm on new medication for my diabetes…and it's working well after a few days!

    Bad Times

    • There is one file from iTunes Canada that has been downloading for roughly 13 hours now….and only 96.2 Mb of 2.2Gb (that's over 2000 Mb in case you are wondering!!) has downloaded….damn this is epically slow!![*]Headaches have ramped up a notch….ouch.[*]Concentration been a little screwy…the joys of family and medical stresses ongoing…all good fun!

I've just finished watching Red Riding Hood (thankyou iTunes US, I got it a fortnight earlier than UK!!!) and thought it was quite good, although it could have been better.

It's not really based on the faerie tale either, although there are a few nods toward it. Good thriller with romantic undertones.

Went and saw Captain America this week, wasn't too bad…and I'm looking forward to The Avengers next May!!

I've also opened up a US iTunes account and downloaded a couple of movies as they are cheaper than UK…currently got Red Riding Hood and Skinwalkers for $22….it's just annoying that I'm getting charged a further $5 for the credit I buy…wish there was a better way….

Next film I'm hoping to see is Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

Does it show how much I like cheetos? 😉

For me it's obviously cheetos, jolly ranchers, skittles and M&M's 🙂

Hops…now this takes me back to my childhood….

My mom and gran made hop pillows, which where put in my sisters pillows and they aided her sleep, I never personally used because at the time I didn't have problems sleeping…in fact quite the opposite!

I did kinda wonder if it was a psychosomatic thing though, as mom told her the pillow was in there…could it have been she justslept because she was thinking about the pillow there?

    Um…NOT The Ring? Boring lol

OK…um, let's see….Ju-On The Grudge and Black Water are good, although they do not scare me I liked them. One Missed Call isn't too bad either.

However if you have seen the US versions of these movies, it kinda ruins it.

Hello there, and welcome to the madhouse 😉

I have tried several things myself…suppliments, relaxation tapes/CDs, hypnosis, sleeping pills (prescribed and non-prescribed) meditation and more….each with limited success.
