Bugeyes✘ Not a client
Ironically I discovered something for what I call rebound insomnia…… exercise called rebounding! Saw it on the dr.
show and it's suppose to have amazing health benefits and helping one sleep is one of the benefits. It's a mini trampoline and the exercise of jumping up and down is not only so easy but the aerobic benefits, the cleanising of your lymphatic system and 45 more benefits made bit a no brainer. 20 minutes a day in front of the tv is all that required. I've been sleeping pretty good now for several weeks with no OTC . I strongly recommend that everyone give this a try…….it also makes you feel so darn good when you're done.
Bugeyes✘ Not a clientNo, nothing. I occasionally take an over the counter med if I don't fall aleep within 2 hrs but consistently taking something…no. I had a bout of it for about a month then it left. Now 6 weeks later it just came back the other nite. Keeping my fingers crossed it lasted 3 days and I resumed sleeping. I have been trying to workout every day for about 30 minutes andi think that helped considerably. Day by day!
Bugeyes✘ Not a clientI've tried pretty much all the OTC meds that's why I finally went to my doc. At the moment I'm not on anything and will only try to use the Lunesta after a string of bad days. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that things stay the course. I am extremely tired now and have been taking 2 hour naps during the day and I'm told it's the “sleep debt”. I'm just enjoying the shut-eye, napping in my pool and getting a great tan.
Bugeyes✘ Not a clientHey…I personally think everyones metabolism is different and it is thru the process of elimination can one find their triggers. I've tried the elimination of sugar and it had no effect whatsoever. When my insomnia occurs I just try to eat healthy in general and I up the consumption of water. When my insomnia dissipates, I can drink a can of coke, eat a piece of cake and even have ice cream and go right to sleep lol. You are fortunate to have found what very well may be your trigger.
Bugeyes✘ Not a clientHey Mel, just recently joined too and suffered from insomnia on and off thru the years. Now, it's back with avengance. Currently on Lunesta but really don't want to take that. I was told that removing myself from my bedroom and going to sleep in a different room will help. I'm going to try that. My doc says lots of his patients swear by it. Changes in latitude is suppose to help too and since I'm having a bad bout with it my husband and I are going to go away for a few days to test that theory. Will update my posts. Will get a room with a view (just in case).
