Hi, I'm Mel. I suffer from chronic (meaning every single night of my life for years) insomnia. I have a difficult time getting to sleep and ALWAYS wake between 2 and 4 unless I'm medicated. I hate taking drugs because I am so groggy the next day. I feel like I've tried virtually everything under the sun, every med, and every natural solution without resolving this. I fear this could become fatal. How can one keep going without ever recharging?
I have my own business and it takes work and energy. I have none.
HELP!

But as for having some Proper advice your best Idea would be go and speak to Martin.. He's the site Owner / Creator I reckon hed be more clued up than me.. How you finding the site so far? all good i hope..

Thanks for the reply. I see you're on the coast of Oregon. We are going there on vacation next month and plan to move to the Pacific Northwest in 2 years. I'm hoping a new environment may help me sleep!

July 25, 2012 at 1:10 am #13999Hey Mel, just recently joined too and suffered from insomnia on and off thru the years. Now, it's back with avengance. Currently on Lunesta but really don't want to take that. I was told that removing myself from my bedroom and going to sleep in a different room will help. I'm going to try that. My doc says lots of his patients swear by it. Changes in latitude is suppose to help too and since I'm having a bad bout with it my husband and I are going to go away for a few days to test that theory. Will update my posts. Will get a room with a view (just in case).
