    hi emma!

yes, baron, baron at your service.

there are indeed many asians in los angeles, and it makes for some of the best, authentic asian food i've had in the country. i've even had better chinese food here in san gabriel valley than i have in singapore.

haven't met too many aussies, though.

    where do you live now?

I live in Australia, but my friends are mostly in music industry and a few are trying to break into the movie side of things…..

Thanks for mentioning that point, Bobbie. A lot of people unfamiliar with sleep disorders think insomnia is only about people being unable to get to sleep. They fail to realise it also includes the inability to STAY asleep.

I have the same deal no problem getting to sleep ,,,but staying asleep grrrr

    LOl,

franky that is so funny…. So now u have dad's approval When is the wedding?

I have many stories I could write a book.

One night I woke up at 2 am it often happens and it was warm, I decided to go outside and watch the stars. At about 4am

I decided to go back in, but to my horror I had I locked myself out,

I started tapping the door, nothing , then pounding the door nothing. Everyone seemed dead to the noise..so I decided to climb the tree next to my house to see if I could reach the open window. I”m not the quietest person and by this time my next door neighbor got up.

I'm up in the tree , not overly dressed and he points a flash light at me.. and says, “What are you doing”?

I replied “I'm looking for my cat” and he said you don't have a cat?

he shook his head and left and I continued on. The next day I had a visit from my neighbor and I had to explain everything.

We now keep a spare key hidden outsideblink.gif

Hi, I also have an adopted daughter. She was often sick, She hardly

slept and though her health improved her sleep didn't.Thus one of the reasons why I developed problems sleeping.

I have tried a few things with her, when she woke up through the night i would often cuddle up to her and the security would send her back to sleep. I don't know your children's back grounds so this may not be the right thing to do.

In the last two years her sleep has improved she's not up as often through the night and we think its a direct result of what we read to her.We started reading children's bible stories to her and would pray with her.. ( I don't know your beliefs, but can only say this has been instrumental in building a wall of security for her, we cannot go to bed without a story and prayer now she insist on it.The nightmares have ceased or appear less often.

You could also try some herbal medicines for children but I would check with a naturopath or homeopath before giving this.

You can also try a child psychologist ( there maybe an underlying reason for the night crying??

I would suggest you speak to a doctor as he may point you in some direction..

I hope this helps I know how hard it is when they are like that, I used to feel helplessrolleyes.gif
