Negative: When my Chronic Insomnia gets so bad I'm drained everyday with my leg and back pain I'm completely miserable and pretty much struggle to not be a miserable @ss to everyone.

Positive: The misery gives me inspiration to write and it helps me think more rationally.

I really like this one, Franky. Is it a new piece you've written, or is it something related to your past?

Either way, I think a lot of us can relate to these words. Lots of us feel a little lost, even if only for brief periods – making us reflect on whether things were better in the past, or whether we're looking back with rose tinted glasses.

    Thanks for sharing.

I wrote this a few months ago it's about Mitchell and I and how everyone around us strayed off, drugs and gaming, no one does anything, and how were wandering to find what we once had, the days when we just didn't care we'd have a few drinks and wander and just enjoy life.

Now everyone is into drugs and they sit and play games all day.

Us trying to find something lost.

    LOl,

franky that is so funny…. So now u have dad's approval When is the wedding?

I have many stories I could write a book.

One night I woke up at 2 am it often happens and it was warm, I decided to go outside and watch the stars. At about 4am

I decided to go back in, but to my horror I had I locked myself out,

I started tapping the door, nothing , then pounding the door nothing. Everyone seemed dead to the noise..so I decided to climb the tree next to my house to see if I could reach the open window. I”m not the quietest person and by this time my next door neighbor got up.

I'm up in the tree , not overly dressed and he points a flash light at me.. and says, “What are you doing”?

I replied “I'm looking for my cat” and he said you don't have a cat?

he shook his head and left and I continued on. The next day I had a visit from my neighbor and I had to explain everything.

We now keep a spare key hidden outsideblink.gif

    into the room

Haha great story, yeah I could write a novel with my stories!

As for the wedding, we'll see!

Oh Martin how you make perfect posts that I can easily fill an entire book with!

The most recent one was Jessica and I were having a video chat and we both never had sleep for about 32 hours or so and were in pain because of our leg problem and this was like 3 am here I live and 6 pm where she lived. We were sitting there and she's like what are you staring at with such intensity besides me hun? jkjk, and I was like I noticed that your puppy is in your room across from where you are(she was in the the rec room) and she said yeah she went in like an hour ago and I said yeah she's peeing on your bed it looks like, and the sheer look of terror on her face was priceless, she let out a scream and ran to her room and all I could hear was her screaming “My new bed spread, how could you! How would you like it if I peed in your bed!?” I was sitting there roaring my arse off, and she came back and was like don't laugh it's not funny franky! and I said oh but it is, you're too cute babe.

what made it even better was her dad walked in and was like I heard screaming what's going on and she explained and he looked at her patted her on the head and took the mic and said to me “Please marry my daughter so she's out of my hair! Do you want me to pay for the wedding, I'll sign the papers now since she's only 17, come take her!” I was like oh you're a funny man!

At the risk of being lynched, I am not a huge fan of Tim Burton. My wife is though – we even went to the Tim Burton exhibition at the MOMA here in NYC. I can definitely appreciate him as an artist, there's just something about the movies that don't work for me.

I was trying to explore this with my wife the other day, but I wasn't making much sense. I think the problem I have, is I enjoy reading books and interpreting them (the characters, the scenes) for myself – when I watch a Burton movie it's like watching someone's interpretation of a book, which doesn't work for me.

That probably still doesn't make much sense, but it's the best way I can explain it!

OK, now I'll run and hide!

No hiding! I know what you mean exactly.

I love Big Fish, and liked Nightmare before Christmas when I was a child, but honestly I don't consider myself a fan honestly since his work just is bland I find, I do appreciate him as an artist just everything he does just seems so boring, it's different than what everyone else does but it just seems like his work is hollow, to me it feels like he does what he does but isn't happy doing it or something.

One thing that ruined Nightmare Before Christmas was EVERYONE loves it now, it's the new thing to love, especially where I live, every girl who isn't popular loves it and they all got tattoos of it, even the ones who never seen it!

I'm a huge Tim Burton fan… I liked Big Fish, it was really nicely done and still had the aesthetics of a Burton film but in an almost gentler way. It had a very storybook feel to it and I found the end genuinely touching.

I loved Sweeney Todd and visually it's stunning. It also happens to be one of my favourite musicals anyway. I think I prefer the stage version I saw and Johnny Depp looked the part but didn't have the voice necessarily to carry off all of Sweeney's songs although he has the presence. Thought the kid that played Toby stole the show actually.

I was not a fan of Sweeney Todd, and I love musicals, it just didn't seem appealing to me, odd.

I agree with you 1000% on Big Fish though, everyone I know who seen it hated it, even my friends who are huge burton fans, it's my favorite Burton movie.

The sun is a massive fusion engine, which gives off its heat by radiating it into space. We call the fusion processes stellar nucleosynthesis. The nuclear fusion reactions produce zillions of watts of heat.

Why has outer space lost it's charm?
