sleepslinky that sounds like what I have. Never heard it called sleep maintenance insomnia before. All I want to do is go to bed and sleep solidly for about 8 hours without waking up continuously. I'd never given seeing a sleep specialist a thought. Something to think about for the new year if it keeps on though. An interesting thread. 🙂
Morning everyone.
Well it's just gone 6.30 am and I've been up since 5. I woke about midnight then about 3 and then finally 5. Just me and the cats at the moment. I've been reading emails, posting and having several cuppas. 🙂
Oh aye they love me. They see me get up and think: “ooooo she's got up, food* 😆
Well today I woke up at about 2 am, then again at 5 and that's that. Now I'm sitting here talking to myself posting cat pictures. 😆
I did some on-line Christmas shopping this morning so the kids should be happy. My eldest is Chelsea mad so he was easy enough. My daughter is crackers about Harry Potter so she's going to be happy too. My little man likes it too so I got him something.
What is Christmas day like in your house? My kids get up about 6.30-7. No earlier. Then it's presents and more presents. The turkey goes in the oven about 9 and we sit down to eat about 2pm ish. Then fall asleep fall of turkey. 😆
I woke up at 2.30 this morning and guess what I did? Fed the cats!! Ye Gods I must be barmy. 😆
