I watched Fabio Capello on the defensive during in a press conference today.

    That was laughable 😮

Film. It's a much richer medium.

Who's bringing the World Cup home: Brazil, Spain or (as a disappointed England supporter) Germany?

Now I freely admit that I am not a religious person…….

However I am fascinated by the whole religious history, law, theology, spirituality and mythology of religion and why it has come to be viewed as such….and during those small wee hours when I can't sleep and those friends I usually talk to are unavailable I turn to the net and research, all sorts of things….

One of my topics of interest is in Angels and Demons……and I don't mean in a dark arts way but who and what they are…..

I notice you've mainly looked at the Old Testament. Are you familiar with the Ancient Sumerians and their Annunaki as a different view on the same phenomena? I've mainly viewed the Bible as allegory rather then a historical account, but that's just me 🙂

Got into a conversation about Bob Marley and found out from an aficionado about his middle name, his family tree, his early musical history, rastafarianism, vegetarianism and his alleged sweet tooth especially how he liked his donuts.

Yeah, I get that. In my case, I'm too tired to do anything productive at night but I can't sleep so the whole process feels like one big waste of time that I should be spending doing anything else.

I've considering trying to take day naps so I can get better use of the hours at night, but I'm torn between my frustration of insomnia and feeling unsociable at having a reversed bodyclock to everyone else.

Doesn't help that the last few nights I've had where I've been lucid at night, I've managed to produce some pretty good work 🙁

i keep my iphone beside my pillow & often turn it on to read or toy with it when i can't sleep. ditto ideas that need to be recorded. however i recently read that the effect of the light/glare from these devices, as well as laptops, can exacerbate insomnia. so while i still keep my phone next to me (it's my alarm), i seldom ever use it in bed. if i do, i turn down the brightness setting to what i assume/hope is dim enough to circumvent this problem.

My phone is my alarm too. Interesting point about the glare. I've been told not to use my laptop or watch TV for at least an hour before bed, but I always assumed it was solely to help me wind down.

I'll try turning the brightness down tonight. Cheers for the tip 🙂

Not sure about the speed, but I know it's measured in how many places you bump yourself while looking for the light switch 🙂

It's going to be a found footage style, and from what we've came up with and looking at different effects we can use(we've got no budget nor do we have any high tech fancy video editing software, we got decent stuff) it's going to come out very well.

Funny, Cloverfield was on last night. It's a good example of the 'found footage' style but crumbs, the points of the movie where any regular person would have put their camera down or expect to have had it taken off him are annoying to the point of throwing you out of the world of the film 😡

You definitely don't need any fancy effect stuff. Hitchcock managed to create tangible suspense without CGI or even a digital edit suite 🙂

    Hahahahahahahahahaha…ahahahahahaha….ahahahaha…ha… 😀

Don't know if this'll cheer you up, but you've inspired me to replace my old tent so I can go camping over the next few months. Just hope it's barbecue weather on the weekend I go.
