Yeah I think the best thing to do is to just realize eventually you will have to sleep. Insomnia has never killed anybody, you will pass out before then.
If it’s causing problems at your work you should speak up to people you trust and say any mistakes that you might make are because you’ve been having a lot of issues sleeping. I know here at my work when I’ve done that it’s been received very well by the team. There are tons of studies that show your brain and body compensate for lack of sleep and that performance isn’t affected much at all.
I would just say keep the mantra “I will black out eventually” in your mind and you should be good.
