On reflection then, do you think it was a useful experience, or just a waste of your time?

Waste of my time. It might work for others to help find solutions, but I already kenw everything they told me. Oh, well.

Went for a sleep study last night. It was an interesting experience. The wires were slightly annoying, but even more irrtiating was the damn oxygen sensor stuck on my finger. I kept poking my eye with it.

Basically, they said I have mild apnea, and guess what? Insomnia. 😐 No, really? I didn't see that coming. The sleep apnea wakes me up and my mind apparently goes into overdrive, thus keeping me awake. Back to the doctor! Woot! <_<

I cut red meat out of my diet altogether and noticed an hour or so of extra sleep sneaking in after a few weeks. Plus, I feel lighter overall. 🙂

The book was decent for Precious, emotionally gripping, but idk if it transferred so well to screen. Course, I haven't seen it yet either.

(Shutter Island was an excellent book.)

Who is going to be the first to get the Insomnia Land logo (or just the star) tattooed onto themselves?

I'll have my guy throw the star in with my others when I get it finished soon. LOL, my husband's going to be like wtf?

Right we have 2 votes for a poetry/writing forum – anyone else interested in contributing to one?

I'd contribute to short stories/general writing. Haven't done poetry since high school.

any suggestions bare in mind I'm 5 foot so not much space and I hate pain

Shoulder's always cute. Not too bad, either. I'd avoid the spine and ribs. They're pretty painful.

Good times: Got my query letter ready for submission. *fingers crossed*

Good times: Spring break next week! That means lots of day trips!

Bad times: Can't shake the blues.

Bad times: Fell asleep in the shower. Hitting the tile with my shoulder kind of hurt. lol
