✘ Not a clientHi linda I tried the magnesium too as many people told me it would help, it unfortunately didn’t and I still kept buying it and looking back now I don’t know why I kept buying it but we live in hope it might just work as we are so desperate to sleep..since I’ve stopped taking it I am now getting a few hours natural sleep which I didn’t get when taking it, only a sleeping pill would make me sleep so it’s your decision but if you’ve tried it for a while with no results then yeah maybe stop it

✘ Not a clientHi what I’ve found has helped me is to lay in bed with the tv on at a low volume level and just listen to it, so I’m kind of not thinking about going to sleep and it happens for me easier..I do only get an hour or 2 then wake up and sometimes lie awake for a few hours but I just lie there instead of getting up as I think getting up would make me worse because it’s not normal for me to be up during the night..I did try it once as I was advised by the psychologist in CBT treatment but it definetly made my anxiety worse and it just felt wrong for me personally..I hope you find something that works for you

✘ Not a clientI’m exactly the same as you,the fatigue the next day is awful..I can’t be bothered to talk, socialise and feel really down some days but i just somehow get through them and hold onto the thought that this will get better..you’re not alone but I feel so alone sometimes, everyone us going about their normal life, laughing, joking, refreshed and I feel like my life is on hold. We just have to hang in there till it gets better

✘ Not a clientThanks so much for your reply..its just so difficult but yeah I suppose I do put too much emphasis on how much sleep I’ve had and when all this will be over, I will try to let go more..it really affects my mood sometimes, the last couple of days I’ve felt really down?.its just so hard to get through each day as you and many others will know but yeah I’m hanging onto when will I come out of this too much..thank you and I hope you get better sleep soon

✘ Not a clientHi kendra, thanks for sharing and I’m so happy you are sleeping better now..I’d like to ask how long it took for you to start sleeping better regularly after finding out the cause of your insomnia and education you needed to overcome it?
I found out about 6 months ago and although I’m doing alot better at night with anxiety etc I’m still not sleeping great
Thank you -
