I lay there and never remember falling asleep as I don’t feel sleepy when going to sleep.Sometimes I wake up at 10pm or other times but can lay there and go back to sleep. It makes no sense to sleep without feeling sleepy. On some days I dose and that feels like a sleepy feeling I remember. I have been hoping that because eyes feel tight and tired during (not sleepy)the day that the sleepy feeling is trying to return. I get exhaustion every few days.I wear an oura ring and most times it takes between 15-30 minutes to fall asleep. On average I get 4-6 hours of broken sleep. Tonight I am thinking of moving time to 10pm. With current 7:30 pm bedtime I have been getting up and go in a room and set in the dark until desired wake up time of 6am if unable to go back to sleep.(been doing this for over a month) My day is starting between 1am -3am but mostly about 1:30am.I even did the 10,000 lux lamp for 35 days for circadian rhythm. When I google ,etc. about what to do about not having the sleepy feeling there is no answer. Do I just stay up until I feel sleepy? I don’t know what to do. It seems like nothing is working. When I first contacted you years ago I did not have sleepy feeling and was not sleeping at all. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Happy for you. I have tried everything. Were you nervous at first? When did you start to see Improvement in sleep. Was it difficult to change your mindset on not sleeping?

Hi. Was there times in the beginning with sleep restriction that you did not sleep at all. When you could not sleep did you get out of bed and do anything special ? I listen to his podcasts for encouragement. I can’t seem to get pass the 2am wakeup and staying asleep. I have tried so much and hope sleep restriction helps. Thanks for your reply.
