Sorry cears, did you find your new medication gave you the same social confidence as Valium? It's just so horribly addictive, if i go two days without it I feel like every motion, movement and noise I make is just awkward and off. I hate that it has me under its thumb. And the worst part is, the longer you take it, the more you need. Hate that damn drug, but I'm so socially awkward and shy without it.

God it is terribly addictive, and I'm finding I'm needing more and more almost every day to get the same effect! I don't abuse it, nor do I want to as I've mentioned I have a daughter and my no 1 priority is her well being, I don't know what I'd do if anything happened to her because I was zonked out on Valium!
Monandothers✘ Not a clientbefore our beautiful daughter was born my bf and i used to see a lot of bands, my fav pics from them were black sabbath with ronnie James dio, haha corny but sabbastion bock was awesome, gnr (disappointing as of course by the time we saw them it wasnt the original line up) umm oh Zappa plays Zappa was great, megadeath, and I know how emo this is, but I've been in love with them since there erly punk days, AFI lol
Monandothers✘ Not a clientIm not a fan of prescription meds as they mostly don't work, but also anything that's addictive just scares the hell out of me, and as MJ really isn't addictive unless you're really abusing it, I think it's a great solution if it works for you! I'm very happy you found something that works, and I love the idea of a “stoned grandma” as your children have put it, lol it's very cute and funny 😜 best of luck with it!
Monandothers✘ Not a clientKilonipin sounds like it would be great for my social anxiety, I've got a huge self image problem so any drugs that make u gain weight would really be bad for me
Monandothers✘ Not a client6 hours is amazing! Congrats 😊 I guess b
Getting rid of the napping will take time Nd Lot of willpower but ull get there! I got 4 hours last night which was fabulous, lol but then my
Bubs decided to wake me up at 5am! I try to nap as much as possible during the day if penny's having a good daytime nap (she started doing her nights at 3 weeks of age, so she generally doesn't have many naps during the day) but from everything I've read so far on this site I should really try to stop the daytime napping! My partner works full time so I just feel its so important that I'm alert during the day as my gorgeous little girl needs me to be vigilant and alert all day, it breaks my heart at the thought that something could happen to her if I was out of it from sleep deprivation. I'm aw lucky tho, Shea only 4 months old, but is such a clever baby and is so sweet and really quite easy to take care of! She loves a strict routine and since my partner returned to work she's been even happier and is just an absolute joy to be around! I have been prescribed an antidepressant that is meant to help you sleep, but I'm hesitant to take it as I don't want my moods affected. He originally wanted to put me on seraquil but I jut find that so intense and really makes u a zombie the be t day! I just want to be the best mum I can be, and being overly tired h
Just doesnt go well with being the sole parent. She is just the best thing in my life, and is such a happy and gorgeous little girl, no matter how tired I can be, or how grumpy I can get, all that changes as soon as I see her in the mornings, she's full mod smiles and giggles? And my mood always always shifts to pure joy when I see her smile 😄 I never imagined id be a mother, im 29 so i think that's a perfect age to have my first! Mind u I didn't find out until I em was 23 weeks, and as soon as I found out I turned immediately from a scared pregnant mum to a happy and delighted mother! She just makes me so soo
Happy! I love being. Mum, it's just the most amazing life change, and better than any antidepressant on the market 😜 she is h
Just the most amazing baby in the world (lol I may be a tad bias though! Best of luck with your tip, and I hope u continue getting fantastic results 😊 lots of love mon xox
Monandothers✘ Not a clientWow, sleep eating must be so troubling! As a gal who is constantly dieting to keep slim (especially after the birth of my beautiful daughter) I can't imagine how stressful that must be! My doc recently prescribed me with an antidepressant called mirtazapine, he wanted to start me on seraquil but I find that drug far too intense, and I just don't want to be chained to any more addictive drugs! So apparently this antidepressant helps u to sleep, I'm weary about taking it tho, what was ur experience with such medications? Do h have any advice for me? Thankyou, and lovely to meet you 😊
Monandothers✘ Not a clientHere in Australia it is illigal, but they are pretty light on punishment if u get caught with what's considered enough for personal use, I think it's up to 3 grams. U pretty much get a slap on the wrist. I have heard great things about vaporisers, they re a very healthy way of inhaling the thc in MJ. I saw a doco on a guy who smoked non stop for a month, (his take on supersize me) and on advice from his doc was told to use a vaperiser. I always thought ingesting it was suppost to have a more intensive 'trip' effect, but I've never tried it so I could be wrong 🙂 I smoked a little when I was younger and it definitely made me sleep great, although I didn't have sleeping troubles back then, but u do have to be careful, my ex smoked non stop for over a year, and when he stopped he
started having intense panick attacks and anxiety that went on for a year, and I have read that long term use can also lead to depression, but im pretty sure it's only I'd ur using it very heavily and for a very long time, I don't think using it once a day to sleep will have such an effect. I'm glad u found something that works for u, a lot of ppl frown on the use of MJ for medical reasons, but all insomniacs will know that if u fond something that works, nothing else really matters! Plus MJ is a seriously safe drug to use, if you were using heroin to sleep I think that would raise many more concerns lol! Happy sleeping 🙂
Monandothers✘ Not a clientThis isn't the most lighthearted of responses but u know u need more sleep when u fall asleep feeding ur baby and when u wake a minute nor two later, shes thankfully fallen face forward onto my lap! Ooh the worst was when i was burping her and all of a sudden got so dizzy I fell backwards onto my butt, thank god she didn't fall off my shoulder 😥 it's scary being an insomniac when ur a stay at home mum and ur baby relies solely on u for everything! She's a wonderful sleeper tho, and a joy to be around, so no matter how tired I get, I can always get happiness from my beautiful little girl 🙂
Monandothers✘ Not a clientThat's beautifully written, I wonder if there's one on D.I.D out there lol I've always found it so interesting to read a out your own mental illness, it's probably not healthy tho haha
Monandothers✘ Not a clientFirstly lady Jane, that's the most adorable thing I've ever read, “what are MJ cookies? Do u buy then at a supermarket?!” lol thanks!! U bake them at home using marijuana. I live in aus too so it's a hilarious thought to me, seeing MJ cookies in the local Coles haha! But more seriously, both of u said ur long term insomnia started after your children were born? I've just had my first, she's 4mnths old, and it's been a little over a month sine I've had a proper nighs sleep so reading your posts has me terrified! Id never considered the possibility that this could be a long term problem, I've barely coped with a single months worth of sleeplessness, I can't imagine doing this for ever! May I ask, have either of you seen a specialist, and if so, is there a reason childbirth can be a trigger for insomnia? Is there anything u wish ud been told sooner?
Monandothers✘ Not a clientHi, nice to meet you, can u ask what the latest study's results were on long term use of pharacudical meds?
Monandothers✘ Not a clientHi my god, that all sounds so intense! I just wanted to wish u the best of luck, and I'll be very keen to watch your posts. Mon
