Oh that’s too bad. But we can still speak on this forum and also get feedback from others. I actually did very well last night. I took my psych meds at 9pm (earlier than usual) my vraylar and clonazepam. Then at 10:30pm I was so tired from all this lack of sleep I couldn’t keep my eyes open. I was exhausted. I went to bed and only woke up once then woke up at 5:30am. I’m satisfied. I don’t know if it was just a fluke though. This happened last week but then went back to no sleep again. We’ll see what happens tonight but I have to work until 10pm so I don’t know. I am on day 3 of Martin’s sleep course. I suggest you check it out. Good Luck.

I don’t know how to contact you on whatsapp. I’ve never used it before.

It seems I thought I was starting to handle my insomnia better and that I had accepted it. But the past few days have been rough, depriving myself by getting out of bed every time I can’t sleep. I can kind of handle the mornings but by the evening I’m just so tired. I’m afraid to nap during the day. I understand that is not a solution now. But I don’t know if I’m cut out for all this. I broke down in tears last night. I’m so tired but I can’t sleep and I can’t comprehend all of this.

Dival, that sounds great I have all those problems. And it helps sleep too? How much is something like that? I’ll still stick with Martin as well of course.

Dival, what else does 5 HTP help with, do you know? I have a lot of problems.

    Dival,

Ok I looked it up, Phenergan is kind of like prescription Benadryl, right? A lot of people use Benadryl to sleep but it doesn’t work for me. It’s hard not to dwell on all the negatives. Writing is very therapeutic. I used to write maybe I should start again. I also signed up for Martin’s free sleep course. It helped others.

Dival, what is Phennergan? Never heard of it. Are you in the US?

Hi dival, I know what you mean about having to do something the next day. I think our minds just get hung up on it maybe even subconsciously. That adds more pressure to sleep. OTC’s didn’t work for me either, not even prescription sedatives. My eyes are so tired in the day and they’re blurry but oddly my body isn’t tired. You know how some people can sleep and wake rested? I have never had that feeling in my life. It’s just frustrating to lay in bed awake and I know all of this can’t be good for me physically and mentally. I’ve been making mistakes at work. Have you tried talking to your doctor? Sometimes there could be an underlying something. I don’t know, I’m new to this. Talk to people on here and Martin. Good luck.

Thanks for checking in Martin. No unfortunately if had no success. I do get out of bed when I’m laying there from 30 minutes to an hour. I stay off my mobile device. I’ve tried breathing exercising. I bought a sleep machine. I have a large powerful fan blowing on me. The blanket is off, the blanket is on. I got a cotton pillowcase. I don’t have a lot of money to spend on expensive “sleep cures”. I drink peppermint tea cool.  I tried Benadryl and even clonazepam.  I’ve stopped being anxious over it because it doesn’t help. I’ve basically given up. If anyone has any suggestions I’m always open to them. It’s been almost a month. Thanks.
