Has anyone seen those special pillows you can buy that play music? They've got these built in speakers and the idea is to just listen to this music and you'll gently drift off to sleep and hey presto problem solved. No more waking up at all hours of the night spending ages trying to go back to sleep. 🙄

That probably wouldn't work with me. I need utter silence to sleep.

I think there's a thread in 'Sleep Deprivation and Insomnia Help' called 'Sleep Tracks Special Deal' that offers a similar resolution. Maybe worth to give it a try.

I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention. You obviously live in the UK. Sorry about that.

But really, you go shopping for food on Christmas Eve?

Why would you go shopping on Christmas Eve? It's time to celebrate and gather with your family.

Around here shops close at about 5, so everybody can be home on time.

Probably it's one of those differences between the US and Europe.

Do you celebrate on Christmas Eve or are the celebrations on Christmas Day?

Enlighten me! I love to learn more about the american traditions. Seems like there are a lot of similarities but also some differences.

Pool, if it's inside. I'm allergic to the sun :-s

    On that note:

    Sunny sky or moonlit sky

Some nice classics in your list yam.

I was forced to go and see Twilight 4 yesterday. The tiny spark of hope I had (maybe this time around it wouldn't be as awful) was crushed at the very beginning. Then two more hours of monstrosity watching came along.

Just when I taught, hmm interesting, the movie ended.

So unless you're 14 years old, wear braces and must yell when you see a pale 29-year old, my advice: Stay away

Luckily there's light a the end over every tunnel. Back at home, 'The Corpse Bride' by Tim Burton was on. Instant relief!

Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough. Whenever there's a box in the freezern it doesn't last long.

But my all time favourite is:

Raspberry pie. It's made of puff pastry, pudding, whipped cream with the raspberries and topped of with marzipan. It's like a piece of heaven in your mouth and the piece is NEVER BIG enough! (So I always order two LOL)

Ok, here are 5 things about me:

    1. I like a lot of 'guy'stuff, so other women think I'm weird.

    2. I've started to make a list of how many books I read. For 2011, I'm up to 59 and counting.

    3. In my early twenties I had a relationship with a guy who owned a night club called 'Soap'. We partied hard and I loved it. Sometimes I really miss those days.

    4. I often dream I'm a vampire and I wouldn't mind being one in real life.

    5. I'm embracing my geekiness and I'm trying to learn Klingon. Qapla'!

I think I've seen the first two movies, but I'm not watching them again, or any of the others, until they are all out on dvd. I plan to buy the whole set, and sit down and watch them all in a marathon viewing. I did just reread all the books though. Enjoyed them just as much as I did the first time I read them.

What an excellent idea. We did a marathon viewing this summer. Me and my 2 sons watched all of them in the 3 days before the opening day. Then went to the theatre to see the last one. After being in the Harry Potter world for so long, we were sad it was over.

By the way, I read all of the books, probably about 5 times. So yeah, you really should read them.
