        I Miriam!
I know the feeling, I struggle with insomnia since over 25 years and it so good to finally have hope about getting a better sleep. I recommend you the podcast if you haven’t listened to it yet, it so overwhelming (in a good way) to hear successful stories of people that went through the course. But I warn you that you may cry over the feeling of such hope. I know I do! 😉 Best wishes to you!

I Miriam! I can’t say that my sleep have improved yet but I know that my problem solving mind is really combative and that it needs a lot of convincing. In the meantime I learn to enjoy more my wakefulness time and to live my nights in a more manageable ways. It also feels great to not being alone with my struggles anymore.

How is it going on your side of the world? How are you feeling these days?

Wakefulness at night creates a lot of stress for me. Good to read that you enjoy it more. I think it would be a good start for me as well to begin resolve my sleeping problems.
I also have a problem solving mind and I search for supplements to help me sleep. Lately I used CBN and it helped for a few weeks. Unfortunately my sytem gets used to new supplements and now it helps less.
I agree that it feels less lonely knowing we are not alone it this struggle. I hope improvement will be around the corner 🙂

                Hi, Miriam.
I struggled with this for 5 years. I tried CBD oil, melatonin, valerian tea, valerian tablets, sleep medications, eye masks and so many other things. I was afraid of wakefulness, and I always felt scared of night time because I knew I was going to be awake and unable to sleep. I know exactly how you feel.

I found this forum and Martin’s podcast last year. These things changed my entire perspective on sleep. When my perspective changed, my insomnia went away. I have been insomnia-free for nearly one year now. I still have anxiety sometimes about sleep, especially when I have to travel, but that terrible fear that I used to feel is now gone.

No, you’re not alone at all. This forum also helped me to feel less alone and less broken. I am certain that you can overcome many of your sleep problems. It starts with changing the way that you think about sleep. I don’t know why it took me 5 years of suffering through insomnia to understand that my thinking patterns were the problem. But I am glad that I understand now.

                All the best,
Your neighbour (in Deutschland) – Noelle
