      Leslie here. 36 year old mom and wife. I’ve struggled with severe chronic insomnia for a decade…I’ve also been medicated every night for the past 8 years. Medicine would work like a miracle then my body would become immune and I’d hop on the medication merry go round again. I’ve tried numerous medications and over the counter meds: colazapam, ambien, amitriptyline, trazadone, quviviq, doxepin, lunesta, gaba, cbd gummies, melatonin, etc. I am just weaned myself off of mirtazapine which I had taken for 5 years. It was a miracle in the beginning then became a curse just like the others. I knew once the mirtazapine quit working this time around (I’ve gone thru this before with this medication) it was time to try a different approach and I feel like I was led to this particular coach and program. I am truly afraid that I am the worst insomniac on the planet its just that bad..so I am fearful that if this doesn’t actually get to the root of my problem once and for all then I don’t know how I’ll survive. Happy to be here tho!

        Hello Leslie!

        It sounds as though you’ve found from experience that the medication merry-go-round might not be a workable approach for you — and you’ve already taken a big step toward a different approach by moving away from the mirtazapine after five years!
