Does anyone else get a big boost if adrenaline or even a rapid heartbeat whenever they lie down?

I can be dead on my feet, but the moment I lie down, my heart is off to the races. I've seen a ton of doctors about it and they keep telling me nothing is wrong.

Does this tend to happen before you fall asleep, or do you wake from sleep during the night with a racing heart? Is anything going through your mind when this happens? Do you also experience a racing mind or have any worries or concerns going through your head?

This sometimes happens to me and I’m thinking it’s related to anxiety about whether or not I’ll actually get a decent night sleep. My body/mind associates laying down with sleeping and automatically triggers an anxious response.
