I'm a man of wealth and taste 😎 heh, I wish!
I thought I'd drop by and say hello!
My name is Saire, and I'm this mad bloke from the UK, although people usually call me Yam (due to my username)
My interests include Collecting DVDs (I have over 1,100 sets in my collection to date, and if I was to count each DVD individually there would be over 3,000!), animation, technology, wrestling, and I just recently started collecting TransFormers models. I also like playing Guitar Hero and Rock Band on my trusty PS3.
Well, it's nice to be here, and see you all round the boards 😀
February 1, 2010 at 2:12 pm #8964Hi Yam – thanks for introducing yourself! I think you're a real character and can't wait to get to know you better!
That is a lot of DVDs! Do you collect specific genres? How on earth do you manage to find the time to watch them all? Any plans to upgrade them all to Blu-Ray? 😉
I look forward to reading more of your posts and listening to your feedback. In the meantime, have fun!

February 1, 2010 at 3:31 pm #8965Hi, Yam! Nice to meet you! I love gaming, myself, but I prefer COD and Hitman to Guitar Hero. The notes are too complicated for my simple fingers to manuever. lol

Agh! Don't get me started on COD. I have Modern Warfare on the Wii and am absolutely addicted to online play! It drives my wife crazy 🙂

Tell me about it, I lose countless hours to online play. I had to buy a new XBox and send a copy to my husband. When he comes home we'll have two consoles so we can shoot each other.
It's quite the stress reliever. Forgot to take out the trash, huh? I'll just snipe you, then. lol
February 1, 2010 at 4:17 pm #8969The music games are more my thing, I used to play bass, until I lost my temper and stupidly punched a wall and screwed up my knuckles quite bad.
Saying that I have been playing the Guitar Hero/Rock Band games for about 5 years now and I'm only jusr starting to play Medium…I'm a whuss 😀

Unlikely, a lot of them will never be released on Blu-Ray, especially a lot of my animation and wrestling DVDs!
Want to see a list of what I got so far? I updated it couple of night back…

Quite simple, I bought database software to catalogue all my DVDs!
Behold… my humble collection
February 1, 2010 at 8:55 pm #8973Hi Yam, fancy seeing you here 🙂 Are you back on Rock Band now?

Now that's pretty fancy! You could be a competitor to Netflix with that collection!

Nice to see you here to ma'am *bows*
Kinda on and off…play a few tracks and stop, but probably get into the swing of it again next week.
February 2, 2010 at 5:50 am #8976I collect DVDs too. See you around.
