      Hi I started having anxiety problems 4 months ago after a health problem for the past 2 months at least I’m going 2 nights with no sleep at all then sleeping the third night for a few hours this week I’m struggling to sleep at all because I’m getting anxious about not sleeping and that is stopping me from sleeping I don’t like taking medication so any advice as to what I can do do please

        I would suggest starting by allotting an appropriate amount of time for sleep each night and giving yourself an earliest possible bedtime and latest possible out of bed time in the morning.

        This will help build sleep drive and reduce nighttime wakefulness — and that will help improve sleep confidence and reduce sleep-related worry and anxiety.
