When I wake up around 5 am, I can not go back to sleep. I think the light coming from or through the curtains is like a reminder of time.

        Hi @Navisa21,

        Welcome and thanks for sharing!

If the light through the curtains is bothersome, are you able to block out that light somehow?
On average, how many hours of sleep are you achieving each night?

In the last 14 days I started doing stimulus control and sleep restriction.
Thanks to this I went from being sleepy at 1 to 2 am to 11: 30 ish. I used to sleep 3 -4 hrs before Cbti. However, eventhough I go to bed around 11:35, I wake up usually 3 times and the last one is around 5 to 5:30 and i cant go back to sleep although I feel sleepy? Or tire?.
So in the last 6 days I am averaging 5 to 6 hrs of interrumpted sleep.
I have black out curtains but i still see some light enough to indicate me the time is close to my end of sleep window ( 11:30 to 7:00). At this time i kind of confused

It sounds like you’re making excellent progress! When you wake after about 5.5-6 hours of sleep, why do you think you find it hard to fall back to sleep? A crack of light doesn’t prevent sleep — but it might encourage us to put pressure on ourselves to fall back to sleep or to put effort into sleep (something that makes sleep really difficult)!

If you were able to sleep right through until 7:00 AM each and every day, what would you be doing differently in your life?
