After reading some posts here, I started reading 'The hitchhikers guide to the galaxy'.
I'll let you know later how it's coming along but it looks promising…

Let us know what you think. That one has been on my list for a while!

I haven't read the book, but I wasn't impressed with the movie!
I am currently reading 'How to win friends and influence people' – still gets amazing reviews to this day.
I also downloaded 'The Great Gatsby' and 'To Kill a Mockingbird' as they've been on my reading list for quite some time and I need to get around to reading them!

April 1, 2011 at 7:04 pm #12051The Hitchhikers movie was quite awful and is nothing in comparison to the books, tv series, comic, computer game and radio series!!
I am currently reading The Hardcore Diaries by Mick Foley…
April 11, 2011 at 4:38 pm #12052I quit reading 'The hitchhikers guide'. Somewhere along the way it got boring.
Now I'm reading The night angel trilogy written by Brent Weeks.
Something different from the vampire/werewolves stuff I usually read, but I like it.

I have read Kelley Armstrong too
I am reading Vampire Academy series at the minute
I have been reading Laurell K Hamilton too her Anita Blake series but have taken a break as there are so many of them.
I am waiting for the new book in Patricia Briggs Mercy Thompson series to come out too.
Thats a just a few of the books I have read, I also read Michael Macintyres book and that was funny :0)
Hey, thanks for the tip about Laurell K Hamilton. I just read the first chapter on her website and I will surely look into that when I'm finished with the book I'm currently reading.
May 3, 2011 at 6:39 pm #12054I can't decide whether to read To Kill a Mockingbird or The Great Gatsby first (never read either). Any suggestions?!

Slaughterhouse was an incredible read. Horrorfying, deeply emotional in a throw-away style. It's officialy one of my favourites now. Hitchhiker's Guide is just brilliant on so many levels. I never got to see the original series but the film didn't doesn't do it justice at all.

The Great Gatsby! Of all the books on my school curriculum (some 15 years ago), it was the only one I couldn't get enough of 🙂
May 4, 2011 at 1:03 pm #12056I have just started reading Divine by mistake by P.C Cast and its really weird haha but I am loving it makes all those sleepless nights a little easier just need to order the rest of the series. I should have shares in Amazon the amount I spend on there 🙂

I was thinking the very same thing just the other day. It's an addiction!

May 5, 2011 at 5:30 pm #12059I'm think of rereading The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, I was bought the full set of 5 by my brother a few years ago, and they are still unread, although I do have them as eBook on my iPhone 🙂
Has anyone here read the sixth one? I'm not sure if to as it wasn't written by Douglas Adams…
May 24, 2011 at 8:36 am #12060Just the read the lastest one of Charlaine Harris, Dead Reckoning. I was really dissapointed.
I really do love her work but the last 2 installments are not like the other books at all. Maybe she's getting bored with the characters.
I also just read a science-fiction series by Justina Robson, The Quantum Gravity series.
I really loved it, but sometimes the descriptions got a bit tedious and I lost track of what she was trying to say. Maybe it's because English isn't my first language or maybe it just was a little too spiritual.

It certainly is an addiction! I just ordered myself a new e-reader. My last one broke. I got the one from Sony with a reading light so my husband isn't bothered when I read at night.
Can't wait for it to get delivered!
May 24, 2011 at 6:43 pm #12062Be sure to join your library – many offer free ebooks. I joined the New York City library before I moved to Oregon. They have a great selection.
