I have insomnia since class 10th. Right now i am in college.I feel that i started having sleep issues after removal of my 5 teeths.I couldn’t sleep after watching TV or phone 1 hour before bedtime. I managed the issues by simply not watching any TV,phone and computer 1 hour before bedtime. But after i got vaccinated i couldn’t sleep at night or at day.
Also on my PC and phone i would see posts and ads of things that i had thought about in my mind. I never searched for those things or even talked about them. I ignored this problem since it was not affecting me in any way but after i got vaccinated and was not able to sleep at day or night , i told my doctor everything. He said that i have schizophrenia and cause of my insomnia is schizophrenia. So i started taking medicines for schizophrenia and insomnia. The schizophrenia medicines were causing many side effects(fatigue, eye movement disorder, restlessness) but i still took them as i had hope that with time my insomnia might improve. One day i skipped one dose of sleep medicine. After that i again couldn’t sleep. Doctor changed my medicine. The new medicine stopped working after some time .Like that doctor kept changing medicine as they would stop working after some time. One day my insomnia became serious. Earlier i had broken sleep and was not aware of time passing by while i was on bed but after one day time started passing by very slowly. I would stand up from time to time at night. I checked my clock after every 1-2 hours. I told all of this to doctor and he said that my insomnia and schizophrenia are seperate case. After that i stopped my schizophernia medicine. I took offline appointment of a neurologist. The neurologist said that i was building tolerance from sleep medicine and gave me one sleep medicine. It worked and i was also able to sleep. I was stable on sleep for about 1 month. After that i again couldn’t sleep for some days but after some days i again started sleeping. Yesterday i couldn’t sleep.
My blood tests are all normal. Even MRI of my brain was ok. I had taken melatonin as one of the sleep medicine. It worked for some time .After that doctor had to change it. Why did i become tolerant to a supplement? Supplement don’t cause tolerance according to internet. Also if i change my room in which i sleep i have trouble falling asleep.
