      Had a sports injury which was so painful it was difficult to sleep. The injury has now healed but the the sleeplessness hasn’t in fact has got worse. Have had some therapy but the Insomnia keeps returning even when I think I have got better.

        Hi @Jeck1982,

        When we have stressful life experiences that disrupt our sleep, it’s usually restored once that stressor is resolved. However, when we begin to change our thoughts and behaviors toward our sleep, it can perpetuate the issue. Have you began exploring the CBT-I techniques – which address those thoughts and behaviors – found on this site?
