      Hi there

      I am desperate. I can go days without sleeping. I am weaning of Medication and my anxiety is through the roof. I keep crying. Is there hope?

        I am sorry to hear about your struggle. Can I ask how long have you been suffering from insomnia? What are your nights like? And how do you cope during the day?

          Hey there

          I reached appreciate you replying. I am currently tapering of Seroquel and am on the lowest dose. I literally go multiple full nights without sleeping. I have tapered down for about 6 months now and each reduction has been horrific but I have gotten there. But now I am on the lowest dose and have nowhere to go. I have had insomnia on and off my whole life, including childhood.

            My days are a bit of a daze. I am ok because I self medicate sometimes but I feel myself closing myself off to my family

              Hi Sarah,
              Sorry for the difficulties that you are going through with the insomnia, I know that it can be brutal. Like you, when mine first showed up, I was up for days with zero sleep and went through the day in a daze and unless you know what and why it’s happening, it’s hard to figure out how to fix it., I am still trying to do the things that I have found on this site or the videos, that may help. I really hope that you can find something that gives you a little relief and you get some consistent rest as it will make a world of difference.

                How are you getting on Sarahjoy? Have you been able to explore any ways you might be able to act in ways that are aligned with your values and that keep you moving toward the kind of life you want to live even when things are really difficult?
