      sorry to be so down, but I am kind of tired of talking about this. I have been trying for the past 10 years to remediate this problem but to no avail. I am addicted to prescription sleeping pills and now I struggling not to increase the dose by supplementing it with ‘natural’ sleeping aides. I kept diaries, I know how much sleep I need, I know what to do or not etc. No progress seems to be sustainable over a few months. Depressing – thx for listening

        Hello Summer. Everyone here understands what you are going through, and we are all here to support you. You said that you know what to do and what not to do when it comes to sleep. So, I assume you are following a regular (and appropriate) sleep schedule, and you get out of bed when you can’t sleep? Am I right?

          Yes, I get out of bed after 20 minutes

            Yeah, it’s very frustrating to pop in and out of bed all night, and it really isn’t helping. Getting up wakes me more than if I just like there comfortably.
