      This is a tough one for me. I’m not ready to accept having to be up from say 11pm-6am trying to emerge myself in an activity I enjoy while not chasing sleep. Seems like a great way to start hating something you once loved.

        If you’d rather stay in bed and do nothing, feel free to do just that! Engaging in an alternative activity simply gives you the opportunity to do something more pleasant if staying in bed and doing nothing feels unpleasant. If nighttime wakefulness feels comfortable, there’s no need to do anything!

          Thanks Martin for your reply. My journey is new so I expect some pain before the relief. I’ve seen so many success stories around CBTI I have faith I can be one to one day. 😊
